Tapioca Factory

Lao-Indochina Tapioca factory is the first of its kind in Laos. It was established in July 2007 and was officially announced to begin its operation on 19 June 2008. On 5 March 2008, it was granted the investment permit with 5 million US dollar registration, before exported its first 340 tons of tapioca to Guangxi and Shanghai, China on 22 July 2008.

Until now, the factory has 1,000-1,200 ton/day intake capacity of raw cassava before producing 250-320 tons tapioca daily.

Our factory can buy cassava from villagers at an insured rate because we have a large market in China. TaiTong Trading Co., Ltd. From Shanghai and Eastern Trade Development from Guangxi have signed and agreement to buy the tapioca from us in whole sale.

There are 110 staffs on the factory. For the convenience of all the staff and workers, we provide a number of facilities such as fully equipped units, dormitories for male and female workers, specialist and administrative staff accommodation, a restaurant serving three meals, a conference room, basic health care space, tapioca analyzing lab. All these facilities are free for charge. Besides, we provide social security in case our staff gets sick.
